There is a tube of clear plastic around the part of the thong that goes between the big toe and the first small toe. I didn%26#039;t know if I should remove it or not. I wore them for the first and only time so far with the tube in place. It was very uncomfortable. Please advise. Thank you.
Am I suppose to remove the plastic around the toe piece on my new thong-style leather sandals?
If it hurts you, just cut it off. I had a sandals pair with this clear tube, when I cut it off, they became my favorite sandals, because of comfort.
Reply:No, the short bit of plastic tube is there to help prevent chafing. It is smother than the leather thong.
