Is it possible to "shrink" an expensive pair of my leather sandals that a friend borrowed, stretching out?

call a cobbler. they might be able to take it in some at the stitching.

Is it possible to %26quot;shrink%26quot; an expensive pair of my leather sandals that a friend borrowed, stretching out?
Water will help it shrink, but could really ruin the shoes. Take it to a cobbler (like mentioned above) because they will know what they are doing, and won%26#039;t ruin the leather.
Reply:I had a pair of expensive Dr. Martens that my friend stretched out. I got them slightly wet and then wore them until they dried. They re-conformed to my foot shape and were fine! Hope it works for you.
Reply:You could always wear them in a hot shower or hot tub for a little bit, then wear them until dry. They%26#039;ll shrink some , but you%26#039;ll never know without giving it a shot.
